Day 1 : Delhi

On arrival into Delhi you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to start to ecplore Delhi or to relax at the hotel.

Days 2-4 : Ranthambore National Park

Delhi - Ranthambhore (via Sawai Madhopur). The morning is spent at leisure before we board the train to Ranthambhore. Ranthambhore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. Sprawling across an area of some 1334 sq. kms, the park boasts an impressive 10th century fort.

In addition to the Bengal tiger, Ranthambhore is home to wild boar, nilgai, sambar deer and a variety of birds. Tiger spottings are more common in the morning or late afternoon. You’ll venture on 4 exciting game drives over days 3 and 4 in shared jeeps or Canters. Overnight: Ranthambore National Park | Breakfast x 3, Lunch x 3, Dinner x 3.

Day 5 : Ranthambore – Bharatpur

After a morning game drive you’ll board the train for Bharatpur - home to Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Rated as one of the finest bird reserves in the world, over 350 species of birds have been identified at the park. A prime time to visit is from October to late February when myriad migratory birds such as the rare Siberian crane can be viewed. During your visit, consider walking or hiring a bicycle rickshaw. Day 6 : Bharatpur - Umaria (via Agra).

En route to Umaria, a stop is made at Agra. Once the Mughal capital of India, Agra is home to the legendary Taj Mahal. A visit is made to the Taj, where you’ll see first-hand, the efforts Emperor Shah Jahan went to in constructing a solid white marble mausoleum for his beloved wife, Mumtaz. From Agra, you’ll later board the train to Umaria. Overnight: Train | Breakfast

Days 7-9 : Bandhavgarh NP

Umaria - Bandhavgarh. An early morning arrival at Umaria, then a short drive to Bandhavgarh where you’ll enjoy the first of your game drives. Bandhavgarh is set amidst the Vindhyan ranges. Claiming to have the highest density population of Bengal tiger in India, coupled with a population of leopard, nilgai, jackal, wild boar, sloth bear, gaur, sambar deer and colourful bird life, game drives are often peppered with sightings. In Bandhavgarh you will take 4 game drives over days 8 and 9 in private jeeps. Overnight: Bandhavgarh NP | Breakfast x 2, Lunch x 3, Dinner x 3

Days 10-12 : Kanha NP

Bandhavgarh - Kanha. After a morning game drive, we journey to Kanha via a fossil park. Kanha is one of India’s largest parks, covering 1945 sq. km of forest and lightly wooded grassland. This is the land that Kipling wrote so vividly about in his literary classic ‘Jungle Book’. Kanha National Park has a tremendous variety of wildlife - including the Bengal tiger, leopard, sambar, chital, blackbuck, gaur, swamp deer and jackal. On days 11 and 12 enjoy 4 game drives in private jeeps. Overnight: Kanha NP | Breakfast x 3, Lunch x 3, Dinner x 3

Day 13 : Kanha - Delhi (via Jabalpur)

This morning drive to Jabalpur to board the Gondwana express to Delhi. Overnight: Train | Breakfast

Day 14 : Old Delhi

Early arrival at Delhi station, transfer and check-in at your hotel. Later, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid mosque and the colourful Chandni Chowk bazaar. This afternoon, enjoy a tour of New Delhi. Open and relatively streamlined New Delhi was built as the imperial capital of India by the British. Highlights include the majestic India Gate, Rajpath and bustling Connaught Place. A visit is also made to Qutab Minor, a massive tower built in the 11th century followed by a visit to a carpet emporium. Overnight: Delhi

 
Day 15 : Depart Delhi

Hotel check-out and included onward transfer to airport.
